Reducing weight may cut cancer risk

Recent study that published in the journal Cancer Research tells us that trimming your body weight not only gives you a healthy and good bod, but also may reduce the risk of developing several types of cancer including breast cancer. Others benefit of losing weight is reduce inflammation in parts of your body.

Just like Anne McTiernan, MD, PhD, a director of the Prevention Center at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center in Seattle, she says that this condition may related to body fat reduction. The more fat one has, the more inflammation-producing cells there are, and therefore the more inflammation … produced and sent into the bloodstream.

McTiernan suggests to including a balance diet and regular exercise to reduce your weight and at the same time it lowering your cancer development risk. To lower the risk of getting an inflammation and cancer, she also suggest women with obese to start exercising and following a healthy diet to reach a weight loss goal of 1 to 2 pound per week.
